Farelane Residence Suites Bukit Bintang

We had a bad experience. Parking isn't free: I paid RM150 for three nights. The lift to the higher floors was slow, and the facilities were limited. The pool was crowded and the gym had limited equipment. We wanted to leave our luggage after checking out, just for two hours while we had lunch, then come back to collect it. The front desk refused, saying luggage storage was only for check-in customers. Don't choose this for your stay.

The host handled check-in unprofessionally. They gave us the wrong key by mistake and didn't apologize. Because of this, we couldn't check in until 4:55 pm, and there were no staff available to help promptly or sort it out in time. The elevators are extremely slow, with long waits just to get to the ground floor. Based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend staying here. Choose a nearby hotel with better service, proper accommodation, and breakfast included instead of this so-called “LUXURY SUITE.”

We stayed for 4D3N with Qasim's help and got a really good price. The check-in details came through WhatsApp, which was practical and convenient. The view from the room was exceptional, and the location put us within walking distance of public transport, food spots, and Bukit Bintang shopping malls. Our Studio Room had two bedrooms and one bathroom, with a connecting door to the master bedroom. There was a dining area beside the living room and a kitchen that worked well. It was a family-friendly setup for four: the fridge and washing machine were especially useful, and the kitchen had a stove and eating utensils so we could cook. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, with extra blankets and pillows, plus a clothing iron. The bathroom was clean, had hot water and shower amenities, and towels for everyone. We had a great stay and can't wait to come back. P.S. These pictures were taken before checkout.

This was one of the worst experiences of my travels across more than 45 countries. Don't be fooled by the fancy pool photos or the prime location. The reception staff, hosts, and management made me regret staying here. Whether you can leave luggage if you arrive early or want to store it for a couple of hours after checkout depends on the security guard's mood. The reception staff were even worse. When I complained, they openly told me to write wherever I wanted to complain about it. Getting the lift feels like an endless queue. Every time, I had to wait between 5 and 15 minutes to go up or down. The hosts for unit 23-15-c, where I stayed, cancelled my booking through agoda and claimed I was a no-show, even though I'd stayed in their unit. They were afraid I was going to write bad reviews about them. I guess that's how they get high ratings on travel websites, or maybe they're incentivizing the travel agents in some other way.
