We tried both the superior and deluxe rooms. The superior was roomier and a little nicer, even though it cost less. The hotel is a standard budget option, but its spot is really handy, just a short walk from many of KL’s iconic sights. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

The room was clean, comfortable, and well kept, and the staff were helpful and friendly during my stay. I had a wonderful time at this nice hotel in China town. It’s conveniently located and has excellent facilities. I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The Signature Deluxe Queen felt cramped and dated, and it wasn’t well maintained. Water also pooled in the shower because the drain was clogged. If you’re considering driving because the hotel seems affordable, keep in mind that it doesn’t provide parking. Nearby parking cost me RM55 for 12 hours, although I’d been told it would be around RM25. Disappointing value for money.

Petaling Street and Rexkl are very close, which is the one real plus. Getting to the room is a hassle because you need to take two elevators from the lobby. In room 722, the AC blows hot, the outlet by the desk doesn’t work, and the TV sometimes switches off and back on. The big mirror facing the bed also isn’t good for feng shui.

The location is VERY GOOD, but food and kitchen smells from the connected BUTTER KAYA cafe fill the hallways and rooms. For sgd60-70, we could get above average standard rooms, so this price didn’t feel justified. On agoda, we saw three room types, including Delux as the lowest grade and superior as the normal grade.
