Furama Bukit Bintang

Breakfast was a daily problem for me as a vegetarian. There were very few vegetarian choices, and most of the buffet was non-vegetarian, so I could barely find anything to eat. The service also fell short: nobody helped with our bags, and we were left to carry all our luggage ourselves, which doesn’t seem acceptable for a hotel of this size. We arrived at 1:00 PM after a long, tiring journey and asked to check in early, explaining that we and our toddler were exhausted. The official time was 2:00 PM, but the staff showed no empathy or flexibility and bluntly told us to wait. If you’re travelling with a toddler, need helpful hospitality, or depend on vegetarian food, I’d strongly suggest looking elsewhere. Management needs to train the staff in basic empathy and service.

Breakfast had plenty of tasty choices, and Chef Saras and the F&B staff, especially Mr Nazlan, were attentive and welcoming throughout our visit. We found the hotel convenient for Lalaport and Times Square, which made getting around easy. Our family had a comfortable stay in a cozy, well-kept room. We really enjoyed it and would stay again.

The room had plenty of space for filming my hotel unboxing content, and the daylight and city view gave the shots a nice feel. I was back at Furama Bukit Bintang for another hotel content shoot, and for the location and space it’s quite worth it. Lalaport, Bukit Bintang, and lots of food places are within walking distance. Check-in was smooth, the staff were friendly, and breakfast was decent. A comfortable choice for a KL staycation 👍

The breakfast buffet had a decent range, and the staff were polite, well-trained, and helpful. Our rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a well-kept bathroom. We stayed at Furama Bukit Bintang with my siblings during our Malaysia trip, and it was a good choice. Jalan Alor food streed is close by for local street food, and Pitt Club was one of the best clubs I came across. Pavilion Kuala Lumpur is nearby too for luxury shopping. I still don’t know why the hotel charges tourism tax room per night. I’d recommend staying here when visiting Kuala Lumpur.
