Hotel D'View Inn Bukit Bintang

We didn’t last more than 15 minutes before leaving and finding somewhere better, even though we lost the room payment because there was no refund policy. We arrived in KL very late and thought a cheap hotel for one night would be reasonable, as it has been in other cities. But at Dview inn, everything smelled bad, the sheets were dirty, and the room was filthy, with cockroaches running around. I photographed one in the room, and there were others in the bathroom, if you can call it a bathroom. The area felt dodgy too. When we got out of the cab, we were surrounded by men and didn’t see any women. If you’re a woman travelling alone or in a group, please avoid it. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Don’t be fooled by the good reviews; I can’t imagine a guest being happy with what we experienced, so they may be from staff.

I arrived on 16.09 and left on 18.09, having already paid the full 169rm. At checkout, the morning staff asked me to pay for another night. I had paid everything in advance, so it felt like a scam. I’ve visited KL a few times and never had this kind of problem. The room was dirty and windowless, with a bad smell, a broken ceiling and a lot of rot inside it. There was also a condom there. The shower was impossible to use normally because the water swung between too hot and too cold. The guy working the morning shift never smiled and was really unpleasant. Stay somewhere else, this hotel is a shame.

The room didn’t match the pictures, and the facilities weren’t good. There was no soap, and there were no remote controls for either the TV or the air conditioner. A very poor hotel.

The room was clean, and the bathroom had a hot shower. It’s an okay place at a moderate price. The best part is the hourly rate, which works well for resting, meeting, or playing.
