Hotel Maya Kuala Lumpur City Center

My partner and I had a wonderful Valentine's Day stay at Hotel Maya Kuala Lumpur, a 10/10 experience. The elegant, beautiful decor gave the hotel a romantic, relaxing feel, just right for a couple's getaway. Staff were friendly, professional and attentive from check-in through checkout, and their service made us feel special and comfortable. Our room was clean, cozy and well maintained. The service, atmosphere and hospitality all exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend for a romantic stay in Kuala Lumpur, and we'll definitely come back.

The staff were personable, courteous and exceptionally helpful. Nash in food and beverage deserves a special mention for going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast buffet he oversaw was one of the best we've seen. We also appreciated the surprise birthday card and cake delivered to our room. We stayed for 3 nights at Hotel Maya in Kuala Lumpur as part of a tour package. Some areas were being upgraded, but the location was very good, just a short walk from the Petronas Towers and shopping areas. We could see the towers from our room. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Hotel Maya. Thank you!

The rooms and swimming pool were clean and neat, and with plenty of rooms it can accommodate groups of any size. It's right next to the Twin Tower, so expect traffic. The entrance is a bit confusing, and there's often construction and upgrading work nearby. It's more of a business hotel. A good option for a short stay of 1-2 days, but for longer stays you could choose cheaper, better options farther out in a less crowded area. Overall, worth a visit for a short trip.

The city view was great, and thanks to reception for taking my request into account. The location is excellent, the room clean enough, and service has been fine. But this doesn't feel like a five star hotel. The whole place needs a thorough clean and better maintenance. Two of the four lifts are currently out of order, and today I waited 10 minutes. I asked on my first day to have the dirty handprints on the windows dealt with, but they weren't. There were lots of mosquitoes in my room. Unfortunately, I probably wouldn't stay here again.
