Hotel O I.villa Inn

I booked three nights through agoda and got there around 9 AM. They told me a room was available but occupied, and that check-in was at 2 PM. I left my belongings there and went out. When I came back after 2, they said there was no room and that it had been cancelled. I was exhausted.

There was no water and no washing room, and the rooms were very dirty. The bar kept making noise all night, with service girls and massage girls around at night adding to it. There was nobody at reception. 👎🏽👎🏽

The location in the middle of the city is a plus, and the man at reception was friendly. Still, the place is clearly falling apart. My windows wouldn't shut, there was no elevator, and the stairs were narrow. The club downstairs blasted music until 3am, so getting a restful night was impossible.

The location made our month-long stay easy. There’s a pastry shop across the street, coffee a few doors away, a convenience store close by, and plenty of restaurants within a five-minute walk. Pavilion, times square shopping center, and the food Street are about 10 to 15 minutes away. We liked it enough to come back for another month. We chose a larger room with a private bath for the longer stay. There was no refrigerator in the room, and we had to work through some storage issues with the shared fridge in the eating area, but we managed. The hot water boiler made morning coffee and pastry convenient. The gentlemen at the front desk were always kind and courteous. We didn't need regular housekeeping, so we had little contact with the rest of the staff. It doesn't fit the usual idea of a 4 star hotel, but the room, service, and location worked for us. The upkeep is the weak point. Sometimes the kitchen wasn't as clean as it should have been and wasn't maintained well. November, 2024: we returned for another four weeks and got the same room. It felt much the same, and I still have concerns about how the property is maintained. The people are very nice.
