After waiting almost two hours, I was moved to a standard room equivalent to the one I had booked. There was no upgrade, compensation or real service recovery, despite the time and discomfort. This was especially disappointing because I had been waiting in the unit with my one-year-old baby. The trouble began when the master bedroom air-conditioner wasn’t working properly. I contacted the front desk on WhatsApp, and a technician came to inspect it. The process took nearly an hour, and they switched off the main electricity supply, leaving the whole unit blacked out without air-conditioning. After another hour, staff told me the motherboard was faulty and there were no spare parts. They showed me another unit and asked if I wanted to move, which I accepted, expecting some recovery for the long wait and inconvenience. I expected better maintenance and more professional handling of guest problems, especially with a baby involved. The experience fell far short, and I wouldn’t recommend the place unless management improves the facilities and its response to complaints.

There was a cockroach in the room, and the shower floor was so slippery that we had to spread towels and bathrobes over the whole area to avoid a fall. Given how the hotel handled the other problems, I doubt they would have offered support or compensation if someone had been hurt. Water also started coming through the ceiling. Changing rooms was slow and disorganized, and nobody came to see us until we kept following up. We were stuck waiting, our plans for the day were completely disrupted, and some belongings got wet during the move. Despite the apparent electrical danger from the leak, nobody proactively checked whether we were safe. I’ve stayed in hotels around the world for years, and this was by far my worst experience. I rarely post negative reviews, but this stay was beyond anything I’ve encountered. I hope other travelers can avoid the frustration, inconvenience and safety risks we faced. There are better managed options nearby, so book elsewhere.

We felt really welcome as soon as we reached the hotel, thanks to Jila at the front desk. Before we arrived, she had already helped us by phone with our reservation and a great rate, then made check-in easy when we got there. Her customer service was excellent. The rooms were very clean and the pool was a highlight. It was our first visit to KL, and we’ll definitely return to Imperial KLCC OPUS. Thank your JiLa

We picked this 2BHK suite for our September 2025 stay mainly because of its incredible view of the Petronas Twin Towers. From the bathtub, you can look straight at the towers, and the infinity pool has a hard-to-beat view at night. KLCC Park, the Twin Towers and Pavilion Mall are all a short walk away. The suite feels luxurious. We’ve shared more details on our Instagram, YouTube, or X handle.

Parking is charged separately, something that wasn’t made clear and felt like a cheap money grab for a KLCC property. The receptionist was also rude and unprofessional. When an issue came up, they pushed the responsibility back onto the guest instead of helping, with no accountability. A really disappointing stay. I won’t come back and wouldn’t recommend this place.
