Intime Hotel Kuchai Lama

For a budget hotel, it does what you’d expect, and the staff were helpful. The room was a standard size for what I paid, but the mattress was so comfortable that I slept really well despite being tired all night. I’d highly recommend the place to others and will definitely stay here again, especially for that high quality mattress.

I checked in around 2-3am on 5 December, then woke at about 4:30 to children shouting and playing in the corridor, along with a cat sound they were playing with. It went on for almost 30 minutes, and I had to get up and check outside. The same man from the desk who attended to me was trying to talk to the children. Could the hotel be used as a residence for staff families at night? I’m not sure if the room had mosquitoes or bedbugs. The AC temperature couldn’t be adjusted. I switched it off at 8:30am and tried to turn it on again half an hour later, but it wouldn’t come back on. Overall, I don’t recommend this place.

Good value for money, with a really clean room, solid WiFi, and air conditioning that worked well. A great place to stay nearish the bus station if you’re passing through KL.

A handy budget hotel for concert goers heading to Bukit Jalil, just one MRT stop away. The area is mostly populated by Chinese people, which made me feel quite safe. There are lots of convenience stores and food stores nearby, so a staycation here is easy and smooth.
