The Westin Kuala Lumpur

Dania made our breakfast especially enjoyable. She was attentive, friendly, and ready to help with a warm smile throughout the meal. The food also had a wide choice of delicious options. We had a delightful time at The Westin and really appreciated the service. We'd be glad to return, and highly recommend it.

I treated myself to a stay at the Westin Kuala Lumpur for my birthday, and the room and bed were both great. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, and Dina's smile and service each day made it even better. I needed something hard to find, and Dinesh at the Concierge Desk pointed me to it within a minute. Osmond looked after me at check-in, and Abu did the daily room service and makeup on level 24 wonderfully. The front desk ran smoothly, thanks to the training and oversight from Sukhvim, the front office manager. It was a wonderful experience. What more could you ask from a hotel?

The one thing that kept me from giving this five stars was the minibar. There's a mini fridge but no mini bar, though I later noticed you can buy mini bar packages from the menu. Some of the furniture could also be more modern, even though it's clearly been cared for. My telephone kept ringing, and I could hear other people's conversations even while it was on the cradle, so I unplugged it. Apart from that, this felt like a 4.5-star hotel for luxury, service, and comfort. The huge room had a king bed dressed in rich linens, plush carpet, a spacious closet with good hangers, and a bathroom with two doors that opened like a spectacle. It had a bath and shower, with the toilet in its own separate area. There's 24-hour room service with an amazing menu. The outdoor pool is magnificent, with beach chairs, fresh beach towels, and bar food and drinks that are phenomenal without being pricey. You're in the middle of the shopping district, like Times Square in New York. The room had a great view, good TV channels, and fabulous blackout curtains.

Breakfast had a decent selection, although it can get busy at peak times. The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful throughout my recent stay, and the pool and gym were well maintained. My room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, especially the bed. The location in Bukit Bintang is excellent, with major malls, restaurants, and cafes within walking distance. Very convenient for business or leisure. I had a pleasant stay and would definitely return when I'm in Kuala Lumpur.
