Oliver made the meal especially memorable. He was attentive, friendly and ready to help throughout, with warm, genuine care. I had a wonderful breakfast at the Traders Lounge at Traders Hotel Kuala Lumpur. The relaxed atmosphere and the view added to it, and there was a great range of tasty local and international food. A lovely way to start the day, and highly recommended for the breakfast and service.

Oliver is the reason we keep coming back. He brings a cheerful, welcoming feeling to the Club Lounge, and his team follows his lead. From the moment you arrive, they make you feel valued. He anticipates what you need, puts you at ease, and chats like an old friend. Shangri-La properties have long been our first choice when we travel, so Traders Hotel, KL was the natural pick for a quick getaway. We enjoyed the facilities, location and views, but the people are what stand out most: their warmth, smiles and hospitality are genuinely welcoming. I was surprised to see on the lounge letter that Oliver is still an Assistant Manager, the same position he held six months ago. Traders Hotel should recognize what a rare asset he is and give him the chance to move up and do even more for the brand.

Hanis was friendly and really helpful, and check-in went smoothly. We were pleasantly surprised by an upgrade to a garden view room. The room looked newly refurbished and was clean and comfortable. Traders hotel is right by KLCC park, a great spot for a morning run. I had a very pleasant stay and will definitely return.

The service was impressive, from the complimentary buggy to KLCC Mall to the attentive housekeeping and breakfast teams. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and our room was very comfortable. From the daybed, we had a floor-to-ceiling view of the Petronas Twin Towers. The room also had a Smart TV, conveniently placed sockets, easy-to-use light controls, a spacious bed, plenty of storage and a refrigerator. Traders Hotel Kuala Lumpur truly lives up to its four-star rating. If you want a premier view of the towers, it delivers. Money well spent, in my opinion.

It’s a serene hotel, but well equipped, and KLCC is an easy walk unless you’re carrying shopping bags. The buggy service was a nice touch. The staff were efficient and helpful. Even though all communication was through Whatsapp, they handled every query competently.
