Kingston Hotel 8 at Bukit Bintang

We spent 10 days here on the 5th floor and had a good time. The room was spacious, clean, and had a large glass window with nice city views. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and the water heater worked well. There's a water filter on every floor, so we didn't need to buy bottled water. Room service was good and cleaned to our preferences, and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is next to Jalan Alor Food Street, with Berjaya Times Square, Pavilion, and LaLaport nearby. The one snag was the elevator doors closing quickly, which seems common in KL elevators, so get in promptly. I mentioned it to reception before leaving; they said they knew about it and planned improvements. We enjoyed the stay and I'd recommend the hotel. Thanks for reading!

Najmuddin at reception was especially kind and helpful. I could tell him what I needed and he'd find a solution, which made my vacation more comfortable. The management were nice too. Our Superior Quadruple room had plenty of space for four and the basics we needed, including hot water, very cold AC, and good WiFi. The free flow mineral water dispenser was especially convenient for our three-night stay. Housekeeping kept the room very clean and changed the towels when we asked. We knew about the RM 50 deposit from the website/OTA and got it back easily at checkout. Najmuddin helped us then and was friendly and helpful. My family and I had a great stay at Kingston Hotel 8 in Bukit Bintang, KL. We chose it for its central location and strong online reviews, and the reviews were right. The reception team were friendly and attentive from the start, and Natasha made check-in quick and easy. Great location, facilities, and service. The manager is lucky to have such dedicated, cool staff!

The room was in very poor condition, and the cleanliness clearly wasn't maintained to an acceptable standard. I'm surprised a hotel with this reputation would let guests stay in such conditions. Cleanliness is a basic responsibility, and I hope management takes this seriously and makes immediate improvements.
