Kingston Hotel 6 @ Changkat Bukit Bintang

In May 2026 the room looked beautiful, but the bath towels were musty and smelly. They changed them and the replacements had the same problem. There was no iron in the room either. To iron clothes, you have to go to the end of the hallway, which is quiet and hot.

Getting around is the main reason to consider My Hotel @ Bukit Bintang. It's centrally located, with public transport, the police station, metro station, and walking street all accessible on foot. Shopping centres are close enough to reach without a vehicle, and there are plenty of shops within walking distance. The Petronas or twin towers are about 30 minutes away, while Maybank tower, Malaysia's tallest and the second twin tower, is about 15 minutes from this tower. Time Square is also within walking distance. Money exchange is available on the ground floor, and there's a wheelchair access path if needed. The staff were good and helpful, but the room and service were only average, not especially standard. If easy transport links matter more to you than room service, this could suit you. During a visit to any country, time management matters.

I really appreciated that the rooms were cleaned every day, and the food wasn't bad either. Still, the staff were very aggressive, which made the stay unpleasant.

My white towel went missing while I was out. I had left it in the closet, but the manager said he takes white towels away to wash whenever he sees them, and asked why they would open the closet and take it. He was rude and didn't apologize. It was a good-quality towel, completely different from the hotel's.
