Kloe Hotel

The staff made our trip with their warmth and personal touches, and Eidal at reception was fantastic. My partner and I stayed here in Feb 2026 and loved it so much that we booked another stay before our flight home. Of our two weeks in Malaysia, this was our favourite hotel. We missed the breakfasts because they were so good. The location is perfect for walking around central areas, and getting a grab to places farther away was easy. We'd absolutely stay here again next time we're in Kuala Lumpur. Thanks again!

The room was clean and the staff were great, and the price felt fair compared with other boutique hotels I’ve stayed at in KL, including Else KL. The location, tucked just off Jalan Imbi’s back streets, is worth about 3.5 stars for me. My travelmate’s room was fine, but street noise came right through my window, and I had some mosquitoes in mine. Breakfast leaned more Western; a simple mee siam or nasi lemak would suit Malaysia better. The TV was excellent, though I’d have liked at least one Chinese or Mandarin channel. Still a solid four-star stay, and I recommend it.

That little courtyard pool feels like a quiet break from the city, and the hotel’s cozy, modern design still has the same charm I remembered from my first visit last November. I’ve come back to KLoé Boutique Hotel and had just as pleasant a stay. The front desk team, Ms Yvonne, Ms Anna and Mr CK Tan, were all warm, helpful and attentive. I booked a king-bed Courtyard Room without breakfast for about USD125 a night. It was spacious, stylish and spotless, with calm, warm colours that made it feel relaxing. The Aēsop bath products are a lovely extra for a 3-star boutique hotel. It’s also well placed for exploring central Kuala Lumpur, around 500m from Pavilion KL and about 1 km from KLCC Park. If you’re looking around the USD100-a-night budget, I think it’s a great option.

Ahmad at the front desk really stood out. He was polite, kind and efficient, handled guests in arrival order, and apologized whenever there was an inconvenience. It’s rare to get such genuine hospitality, and I hope his effort is recognized. The team also left simple balloons on the bed for my birthday, which was thoughtful. Our standard room was comfortable, with a view toward the TRX area and a few shop lots behind the hotel. I’d be curious to try another room type next time. I liked the AESOP toiletries, though we had to ask for refills often. Fixed soap and shampoo dispensers might help. The drinking water setup is a good idea, but we also needed to request more bottles or refills several times. A dispenser on each floor could make that easier. The pool needs more frequent cleaning. Leaves from the nearby trees fall in, bringing bugs and making the water feel less hygienic. Netting or more cleaning might help. The facilities were fine for a 3-star hotel, although I’d expected a small gym. Parking was easy to get into, but it’s quite dim. More lights, safety features or an attendant would help guests, especially women, feel safer walking to the lift at night.
