Our team had a lovely time at the workshop, and the beautiful, clean, spacious venue made for a comfortable event. The food was delicious, and parking was easy and convenient. Many thanks to Mr. Danny Khoo, Senior Manager, Sales, and the Banquet Team for their excellent help in making our workshop at Komune living & Wellness Cheras Hotel a success. We received very positive feedback from the team. We appreciated the hospitality, professionalism and support throughout, and look forward to holding future events at Komune Hotel.

Having the park right beside the cafeteria makes the whole place feel relaxing. The cafeteria food and service were top-notch, and it’s so convenient to have Spa, TCM, dental and health screening all under one roof. I went to TCM with my mum, had my hair coloured and tried the Thai massage. Everyone was professional, and the prices were reasonable compared with other places or hotels. Complimentary visitor parking is another real plus. Check-in and check-out were quick, the front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and the facilities were well maintained. Cleanliness was excellent. Please keep it up! I loved the direct access to the park. My elderly parents and I really enjoyed our stay at Komune Living and wellness, Permaisuri, and hope to return to the same or better standards. The downside is that some facilities aren’t open to everyone. Level 3A and the lounge on level 6 are for long-term stays. I wish we could book the kitchen on 3A and use those lovely lounges. We had a two-bedroom suite with basic amenities. Hand soap, dishwashing liquid and teaspoons for the cups would be useful. A white light by the mirror or in the bathroom would also help with makeup, since the current lighting feels very romantic. For the free shuttle, adding a 5pm run and picking guests up at the drop-off point would be more convenient.

The park downstairs is nice, and the cleanliness was acceptable, but this third visit was really disappointing because of the room and the noise. From 20 to 22 May 2026, I booked a Queen Plus and was assigned an OKU-friendly accessible room on the East side, Level 9, Room 25. The facilities, especially in the bathroom, weren’t convenient for me. Over both nights, I could hear people shouting, talking, walking in groups, or chatting in pairs in the lively corridor. The soundproofing was extremely poor. The elevator and traffic outside were also clearly audible from the room. My previous stays had some issues too. On my first stay I was on the West side, at the end of the corridor. There was a soundproofing problem, but it was still bearable because the room was at the end. On my second stay, 24-25 April 2026, I was on the East side and could hear vehicles, though it was manageable. The door lock was faulty then, but the hotel team fixed it. This time the room arrangement and poor soundproofing made the stay a letdown.

The receptionist and buffet staff were kind and helpful, but one staff member on level 3A made the stay sour. My sisters and I understood that the KTV, sauna and jacuzzi were members-only, and we didn’t mind not being able to use them. We were standing by the door, not blocking anyone, just talking about what to do next, when we heard someone call “hello!! Hello!” from a distance. The staff member on duty 29/03/26 around 5pm-6pm then came over with a rude face and tone and said “member only.” I wouldn’t have minded if we’d been rude first, but we weren’t. Please find the worker, a somewhat chubby foreign man in a pink shirt, on Level 3A from 5pm-6pm on 29/03/2026, and reprimand him or otherwise address how he spoke to us. Just because we may look like country bumpkins doesn’t mean we aren’t human and can be treated that way. I booked one night using AirAsia points, so it was very cheap. At the full price of around RM235++ a night, though, this would have been a very unpleasant stay. For RM200-plus, the room had no basic amenities. You can buy an amenities pouch at reception, which I don’t mind since it’s affordable, but there wasn’t even a tea sachet, which I expected even if it isn’t essential. There was no microwave in the room. I know it’s a co-living setup with a shared kitchen, but we couldn’t use it unless we were members, so we ate our food cold. The air conditioning was weak and we slept hot. We came expecting to try the facilities, but accepted that they were members-only. The problem was the staff member’s rudeness. If foreign workers are hired for front-of-house, they should get basic service training and be expected to have good manners. Service affects the hotel’s reputation. The other staff were very nice. Thank you.

The room was clean and comfortable, and there’s a water dispenser by the lift. I tried to visit the pool, but it seemed to require a special access card. The location is handy, just a 2-5 minute drive from HCTM. There’s a 7-Eleven and Starbucks on the ground floor, a food court downstairs on the lower ground floor, and a view of greenery and the lake (tasik). Walk-in buffet breakfast costs RM25 per adult and RM15 per child. Toiletries like toothbrushes, toothpaste, slippers and laundry bags or plastics aren’t provided, so bring your own. Parking is convenient: validate at the lobby front desk before exiting. Payment is by Touch ’n Go, and without validation it costs RM6 per entry.
