Lazdana Hotel Kuala Lumpur

I had booked 11 nights through the hotel's website and received a confirmation email, but at 10:30pm, after travelling all day, the receptionist told me they had no record of it and no rooms for my dates. It seems their website may be faulty. I was very unhappy and had to find and book another hotel. The small consolation was that the receptionist let me use their WiFi to make the new booking. Otherwise, they would have got a one-star rating.

⭐ 1/5. The staff were friendly and the location was convenient, with many shops nearby, but the room condition ruined the stay. It wasn't clean, and the sheets and pillowcases were stained and didn't feel fresh. The pillow was extremely thin and gave me neck pain after sleeping. The air conditioner couldn't be adjusted properly, with no remote, just on and off. Soundproofing was poor, and we could clearly hear noise from other rooms after midnight. Breakfast was very basic with few choices. The stay was very uncomfortable, and I wouldn't stay here again.

The location is good, with restaurants and convenience stores nearby, and the staff are nice. But the rooms were quite dirty. The sheets, blankets, and pillows had a lot of stains and hair from previous guests, as if they hadn't been cleaned. There was no refrigerator. My friend's room smelled of cigarette smoke, so he had to leave the window open all night. Breakfast choices were quite limited. I hope the hotel takes this feedback as motivation to improve so other guests can have a good stay.

I stayed two nights with a small group of 28 people. The rooms were clean and modern, with great amenities and a cozy atmosphere. The location is strategic, close to shopping, dining, and public transport. Reception staff Bala, Rony, Jiha and Syafwan were helpful, friendly, and kind. Thanks also to Ms Narti, the sales contact who recommended the hotel for our group. Lazdana Hotel Kuala Lumpur is excellent value for money and works well for business or leisure. The downside is that parking and breakfast are limited.
