The biggest drawback in #11-02 was the sound passing between apartments. You can hear people talking and walking, and since the neighboring units are rented by the day, noisy guests or late arrivals could be uncomfortable. The bathroom is reached through the bedroom, which is awkward if someone is asleep, and the toilet flush is very loud. There's no washing machine in the apartment, though the building has a laundry room that may cost extra, something to consider for stays over three days. The building is old despite its luxury label, with dated built-in furniture and curtains that need washing. On the plus side, this was the best located of the ten apartments we've tried in Kuala Lumpur. Most sights are walkable, the area is lively, cafes and mini-stores are close, and two large malls are within walking distance. The separate-bedroom apartment had the most comfortable bed we've had in KL, about 180 x 200 cm, with a medium-firm mattress in perfect condition. Air conditioning kept a steady temperature without blowing on us. Well-placed windows kept out street and mosque noise, and the apartment stayed pleasant, never above 28 degrees. There's a pool and gym, with drinking water available from the gym cooler, plus a bathroom with both a shower and bathtub and enough hot water for a relaxing bath.
