Maison 101 Residence walk to Menara KL

The room was nowhere near the standard I expected, and it really affected my stay. There was a bad smell near the bed, the walls were stained and scribbled on, and the curtains had holes. The bed frame had a hole, and a lamp on one side hadn’t been installed. The toilet bowl wasn’t fixed securely, and the bathroom door was so tight it was hard to close. The TV wouldn’t turn on, and there wasn’t a remote either. All of this made the room poor value for the money. I strongly urge you to check out from the hotel. I was quickly disappointed. I need help getting a refund from Agoda immediately, but I haven’t been able to reach the hotel.

The price for this location is really reasonable. You’re in the city center, between KLCC and Bukit Bintang, with the LRT, a shopping mall, a supermarket, and great restaurants nearby. Good Airbnb quality.

The studio on the 21st floor was neat and clean, and had a balcony. It cost RM100 per night. There was no drinking water, and housekeeping costs extra. The swimming pool is open.

There’s no fridge in the room, and the fitness center was either closed or didn’t exist, despite being listed. The rooftop pool was closed while I was there, and it was impossible to cancel. Customer service was bad, if there was any at all. You can find much better value elsewhere in KL. Getting to the interesting places takes a while because they’re quite a walk away, and you have to cross the big roads several times.
