The staff were friendly and the service was appreciated. For a 3-star hotel, it's not bad, though the Wi-Fi and cleanliness, especially in the bathroom, need improvement. If those two things get sorted out sometime, I'll definitely come back and recommend it.
The room had FOUR power slots, which was a nice surprise. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked, and the TV channels were okay. There are also lots of 24-hour shops within walking distance. The facilities overall were decent. The free Wi-Fi was terrible, especially on level 2, so I'd avoid a room on that floor. The price was a bit high compared with similar boutique hotels, but I didn't have another option at the time. The night concierge was inefficient too. I politely asked for bottled water, but it never arrived. When I ran into him on my way to buy some around 1am/22 Dec, he didn't even apologize.
When I stayed here about 4-5 years ago with my elderly parents, the hotel was gorgeous and new. We were celebrating a late aidilfitri with my paternal family in Selangor, and this place was close to my brother's home. Our family room was clean and spacious enough for three, and the lift suited my aging parents. I tried booking again for the following year's raya, but was told the hotel would stop operating. Last October I came to Cheras for business and saw it had reopened, so I stayed here. The queen room was quite dirty, with obvious dust and stains on the sheets, and the Wi-Fi was almost undetectable. It was a far cry from my earlier stay. For the price I paid, I could have stayed at a much more comfortable hotel near the TBS.
We arrived quite late and really needed a good night's sleep before going to a wedding event the next day. My husband and I found the room spacious, with a very comfy bed, just what we needed. The staff were great too. Great location and an affordable price, so I highly recommend staying here.
There are lots of eateries, a bank, and other amenities just a 1-2 minute walk away. The nearest LRT train station is Salak Selatan, about a 10-minute walk. Parking and the entrance are wheelchair accessible, and guests get Wi-Fi with a decent enough speed. It's a small, convenient hotel for travelers and backpackers, with clean, newly renovated rooms. They're small but roomy enough for budget accommodation, and the staff are friendly and helpful.
