OYO 255 My Hotel KL Sentral

For the price, this is a nice, budget friendly 3-stars hotel. The room and bathroom were clean and nice. It's near NU Sentral, which connects to KL Sentral, so there are plenty of public transport options. Bring a USB if you want more to watch on the TV, since there aren't many channels.

Getting around is convenient once you reach the airport express train, metro, or monorail, all close by. You do have to walk and cross major roads, though. During business hours, pathways through the NU Sentral buildings help. The service was alright but minimal. The place felt a bit dirty, and even the superior queen room wasn't great for cleanliness. Lower-level rooms hear people on the street throughout the night, so it can be noisy. It's an average 2 star hotel, so don't expect more.

The hotel is really close to KL Sentral station, which you can reach on foot, and the room price was reasonable. The room was clean, and the staff and location were good. Check-in and checkout went smoothly. I really appreciated the woman who helped me check in. I forgot her name, but she was pretty, had a slim figure, wasn't wearing glasses or a mask, and was full of smiles. I arrived at around 5.30 pm on 08 Nov.

The staff were so friendly and ready to help. We mixed up our checkout dates and accidentally overpaid, but they pointed it out and refunded us before we even realized. The rooms were spacious, well appointed, and kept very clean by the efficient cleaning staff. It's easily one of the best budget hotels in central KL. It's less than 200 metres from KL Central and among some great low-cost restaurants. The WiFi is fast enough for basic browsing or streaming. The in-room TVs are older, but can take an HDMI input, though they're not smart TVs.
