Pandora Spring Villa

We held our engagement here, and the venue was spacious enough for 200 guests. The owner was very friendly. We did run into water and air conditioning problems during our stay, though, and the PA system provided by the owner didn't work well, so bring your own.

The place may look beautiful, but I won't book it after dealing with the owner. When I called to look over the venue for my event, they kept questioning me as though there were no other places I could choose. The owner/host came across as arrogant and very unfriendly.

The interiors are very modern, and there's a pool table and swimming pool. It could be a great family staycation, but the owner/host was a very bad host. The earlier one-star reviews say it all for me. First and last time!

The villa is spacious and could work for a company family day or a night stay. That's the only good point I found. I'd read a lot of negative feedback from stays in 2017, but thought things might be safe by now. They weren't. The host kept coming in and out of the house without our consent, switching off fans and lights even though he'd already shown us the controls. He'd also pop up to peek at what we were doing, and repeatedly talk about how expensive his property was. It felt more like a prison than a villa. The next morning he walked into a room where women were staying, then walked out. That was disrespectful. We got a WhatsApp reminder at 11am that checkout was at noon, which we already knew, but then he arrived at 11:30 and hung around, putting pressure on us. The so-called snooker table was worn out and all the cues were unusable. The pool was full of chlorine, and he reminded us not to dirty it because another group was coming after checkout. While we were watching Astro, the signal was cut off after 8pm with no warning. The bathroom water heater didn't work, and after about five minutes the shower stopped, so we had to use the bidet to wash. There was also a racist question: he asked a colleague whether we were all Muslim because some of us were freehair. What kind of question is that? Malaysia is a multiracial country. This is sincere feedback, so please don't bash me for it. I don't think this is the first negative review you've received, especially since you say you are or were a medical student. Anyone can choose to stay here, but this is a heads-up about what it may be like. Cheers xx
