The hall was nice, and the dirty toilet was tolerable. The bed was awful, though, and I even found bed bugs. Now I’m stuck worrying that I’ll bring them home and infest my place. The wall was mouldy too and needs repainting. The owner should put some money into cleaning and fixing up the rooms. I’m definitely not going back.

It has a humble, simple feel, and the people are friendly. The place isn’t porch, but it feels vibrant and homely. For an affordable price, backpackers get spacious rooms with bunk beds, which is rare in town. And there isn’t a single tiny cockroach here. The shoe rack doesn’t smell, though some shoes occasionally do. Enjoy your stay here :)

The dorm was hot, noisy, and I couldn’t sleep a minute. Six of us shared a tiny windowless room with just one fan, so only one person could use it. The aircon shown in the pictures either didn’t work or they didn’t want to switch it on. It wasn’t cheap for what we got. Breakfast was bad too, with no bread left. I asked the manager for more and he did nothing. I wouldn’t stay there again.

The owner kindly refunded the three of us, but the staff were rude and disrespectful. I booked two nights in the women only dorm and left after just one because it was full of bed bugs. It was disgusting and really disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend this hostel to anyone.

In the dark, an army of bedbugs comes out like zombies. It was a really irritating experience. Sure, it’s cheap, but that doesn’t mean they can let people sleep in dirt and garbage. I left the next day, paid RM 15 more and found a reasonably clean motel next door. Not recommended at all. Maybe it suits hippies who don’t care about bedbugs, smell, or rude staff.
