The room is spacious, so it works well for families with kids, and the bedroom and other amenities are decent for the price. Sogo and the train station are both an easy walk away. The toilet is the one area that really needs to be cleaner.

The air conditioning was very old and quit on the third day, though I was checking out then anyway. The room itself was fine and very clean, if a little dated. Meals at breakfast, lunch, and dinner had limited variety, but what was served tasted good. It was okay overall, though I’d call it a very good three-star hotel at most.

During sahur and iftar, a lot of the plates and cutlery were visibly unclean. That was off-putting and raised hygiene concerns, especially for a hotel serving buffet meals. I also saw water leaking into the corridors, leaving the floors wet and poorly managed. It was a serious slipping risk, particularly for children and older guests. The location may be convenient, but maintenance and cleanliness need major improvement for guests’ safety and comfort.

I had breakfast at the Coffee House on Level 5. The staff were attentive and friendly, and there were decent food choices with a more local taste than you get at western hotel chains. Prices seemed reasonable for the hotel, though breakfast felt a bit expensive, perhaps because of the location. It was fairly comfortable and not too busy.
