I booked a room for one day and had a terrible experience. My bed made some noise while I was trying to sleep, and the receptionist was unpleasant when I complained. My friend had a separate room and found bed bugs there. She ended up with bites all over her hands and legs. Karaoke upstairs also made a lot of noise in the middle of the night, so it was hard to sleep. Given the hotel conditions and the unprofessional receptionist, I'd give it zero stars.

The room looked dirty and uninviting at first glance, and it was extremely old with no basic hygiene. I could live with dated facilities, but some things were broken and hadn't been replaced. The showerhead was so weak that my urine stream was stronger. The staff also seemed to set prices arbitrarily. They encouraged people not to book online, even though the highest online price was only around 80 yuan. Walk-ins were charged 130 yuan, with a 20 yuan deposit, so the most basic room ended up costing 110 yuan.

I had read plenty of bad reviews online and thought it was only one night, how bad could it be? I got my answer before we even reached the room. We didn't manage to check in properly before the man and woman at the front desk yelled at us. It was our first visit, and because there was no clear signage, we accidentally used the wrong lift entrance. Instead of helping, they scolded and verbally insulted both of my elderly parents. I calmly mentioned the lack of directions, and the male staff member had the nerve to say we must be blind. Seriously, is that how you treat guests? This kind of service is why places like this deserve to shut down. If you're considering staying here, don't. Down the road near Raintree, there's Sovotel Hotel, with about the same prices. I can only hope the staff there know how to treat people like human beings.

This felt like a scam. I accidentally booked the wrong date yesterday, for September, and the booking said I could cancel any time for a refund. When I contacted Agoda to cancel, they said the hotel had to confirm it first. I went to the hotel and asked the staff to respond to Agoda and approve the cancellation because I'd booked the wrong date, but they argued with me and wouldn't help approve the request.

The location is good, with plenty of restaurants around, and there’s also a pub and massage parlour in the same building. There’s no free parking. The room needs an upgrade, especially the pillows and sometimes the towels. Some of the showers are great, while others need replacing.
