The hotel was easy to reach from KL Intl. Airport by Grab or local taxi, and there are 711 and KK Mart close by. Most of the restaurants nearby serve Indian or Chinese food, so the area is especially handy if you like Indian cuisine. Our room was clean and tidy, and the bathroom had hygiene kits and clean towels. The water pressure was good even on the fifth floor. On our first night, the AC had a problem, so we had to move to a better room. We visited in the first week of March 2016. For the price, it felt like good value.

China Town is a great area for exploring food, shopping, and tea shops, and Ramada Encore was clean with professional staff. Jumalia and Kawya helped us get an early check-in. The rooms are basic for the price, but cleanliness and hygiene really stood out. The mattress was comfortable, and the AC worked well. The room and bathroom were a good size for two, and I'd go for a room with a window. There are lots of Indian guests, and amazing food is available all around the hotel. China Town is a must-visit, and this is a convenient, clean, budget-friendly place to stay.

The breakfast was the biggest letdown. The food quality was poor, items weren't replenished promptly when they ran out, and service in the breakfast area was very slow. The staff were friendly, helpful, and cooperative, which I appreciated. But the rooms were very small, the air conditioning didn't work properly, and there was no hot water in the bathroom during my stay. The room facilities and breakfast both need significant improvement.

Getting in and out by car was the main difficulty for me. The hotel is beside a Hindu temple on a narrow, busy street, and traffic gets especially congested during the day and evening. There's no dedicated drop-off or parking space by the lobby, so taxis and ride-hailing cars stop briefly by the roadside. Drivers often ask you to get in or out quickly so they don't block traffic. The road slopes a little, and there's a short walk from the roadside to the entrance. It's more practical to wait outside for a taxi, since cars can't stay stopped for long. This could be hard if you're with elderly family, young children, lots of luggage, or someone with mobility challenges. The location is excellent for exploring Chinatown. Convenience stores including 7-Eleven, restaurants, shops, and local businesses are all nearby, with Chinese, halal, and other food options within walking distance. The area stays lively late, with restaurants, cafés, and entertainment venues open at night. The hotel was clean, comfortable, affordable, and well maintained, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. I had a good stay and felt it was good value, though the traffic and drop-off situation is worth considering.

We had a clean room with a good view, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The buffet breakfast was awesome, with good food. Ramada encore Chinatown is one of the best places to stay, and great value for money.
