Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara

The spa was the standout for us. My husband and I had a full body massage on the first day, and it was so good that I booked a head and shoulder massage for the next day. Somehow, that one was even better! We had a lovely three-night stay in a club room at this beautiful hotel near KLCC, a nice choice for a weekend getaway or relaxing vacation. Our first room was extremely humid and had a bit of a moldy smell, but the club lounge staff quickly found us another. Sadly, the second room had a broken a.c. They were helpful again and upgraded us to the very spacious and beautiful Prestige room. The whole team at Club Millessime was wonderful. Lachana, Ekban, Anishma, Viivo, and Desy looked after us during afternoon tea and evening cocktail hour. The food was okay and nicely presented, though the choices could have been more extensive. One night the selection was very small and aimed only at meat eaters. The gym was nice with a good range of equipment. The pool was okay, though the loungers looked a bit dated. We'd be happy to visit this Sofitel again.

What stood out most was the first-rate hospitality from the Sofitel team. Ekbar led the Club Team, and in my experience across many Accor Hotels in several countries, they're among the world's best. It was easy to get to know everyone because each person showed individual attention, care, and warmth. Thank you to Vino, Hariz, Anishma, Desy, Midhun, Lachana, and Putri. I also appreciated Shafi from the Front Office, who welcomed me to Sofitel and looked after me until Club took over, along with all the Concierge Members. And thanks to Shamim and Paul in Housekeeping. The rooms stayed clean, well maintained, and high quality. For me, Sofitel in KL represented the Accor brand excellently, world-class in every aspect. My favourite was the Lounge on Floor 22. From my experience at Accor Hotels in several countries, it's among the world's best. The breakfast menu was sophisticated enough to feel like fine dining in Paris, and the same went for pre-dinner.

Our room was spotless and very well appointed, with a high level of luxury. Safik from housekeeping went out of his way to make the stay enjoyable. The reception and check-in staff also went out of their way to help with an item we'd left in a taxi, and it was eventually resolved. I've never experienced such willingness to help from hotel staff. We spent four nights in clubrooms at the Sofitel Damansara KL, which I'd highly recommend. The club lounge staff were amazing, professional, and friendly. Special thanks to Lachana, Desy, Salim, Putri, and Vino. The hotel isn't in central downtown KL, but that didn't take away from our stay. We'd definitely stay again. Many thanks to everyone who made our time in KL one to remember.

The buffet had a delightful atmosphere, a wide choice of delicious dishes, and exceptional service. Keerthana, Jannah, Wayu, and Gopi were warm and attentive, and really made our visit memorable. One small downside, the crab and river prawn didn't seem fresh.
