The pool on Level 69 was the highlight of our girls' birthday staycation. The KLCC view was stunning, and it wasn't too crowded. We also had a beautiful view from the room even though it didn't face KLCC directly. The room was comfortable, with a huge cozy bed, a very clean toilet and lots of toiletries. Everything went smoothly for our best friend's birthday celebration. Thank you, Star Suites, for the great hospitality and for making it so easy and memorable. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return.

Some things were good: check-in time was very flexible, there was a proper kitchen, five elevators, a fantastic view, and a good location. There were two air-conditioning units, one in the living room and one in the bedroom. The place had two pools, but one was tiny and both were overcrowded, with guests from THREE buildings using the central pool. The Wi-Fi was easily the worst I've had anywhere, including across south east Asia. I had to disconnect and reconnect my devices every minute just to get data. Some cheap Chinese devices didn't work, not the established Chinese brands. The windows leaked, the bath leaked and left a puddle at the other end of the bathroom after a shower, and there was no TV reception. Service didn't follow up on the problems. We reported the devices and were told someone would check, but nothing changed and we never got an update. At night there were sometimes very loud hallway noises. We could hear them clearly even with the bedroom door shut. They sounded like carts for moving things, so I would guess they came from employees, but I can't say for sure. The five elevators were poorly programmed too. Once we waited about ten minutes on an upper floor, with no other way down. The hallways don't have AC, which can be a good thing when the elevators work well and save energy, but waiting there can get extremely sweaty. Security didn't enforce rules like no smoking at the pool or no unattended children under [certain age] there, even though there's no lifeguard. They said the other buildings had different rules for pool users, which I find hard to believe. Edit 2025-12-01: I forgot the irregular room service. The floor was only swept with a broom. Once, we passed a room about to be cleaned, and it seemed to be the staff member's lunch break. He was sitting on the couch with the door open, the TV loud and bare feet on the table. I read that cleaning starts at 1 PM and then moves through the building. Maybe I remember that wrong, but on one of the first days someone rang at 11 AM, totally unexpectedly. On the other days it was 5 PM. Completely unpredictable.

I booked Hotel STAR SUITES KLCC through the BOOKING app because it had the best deal. The room was clean and well maintained, with well-appointed amenities and lovely city views. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Parking was plentiful and included in the room rate, and there's a large, well-equipped gym. Guests can use a small but beautiful rooftop pool with incredible views of the Twin Towers and the whole city, plus a very large lower-level pool with plenty of loungers. I highly recommend it.

Reopen the public passage you closed. Blocking a route that people in the city always used, just to push more customers through your restaurants and shops, is disrespectful. Now many people avoid your building altogether, even if it means taking a longer route. You're losing people's trust and loyalty. Open the passage again!

The building looks all right, though parts of it feel worn, and the electrical appliances they use weren’t working. On 25/4, the power went out and we were left in the dark for a long time. Staff were unfriendly, gave us no updates, and offered no help. Management seemed to have no emergency plan. Worst stay I’ve had, and a real disappointment 😖
