Suite Dreamz Hotel Sri Petaling

My daughter says Suite Dreamz feels like home whenever we stay. She's very choosy, but likes how clean and bright it is, the comfy bed, good air-conditioning, and nice shower. Even my late father-in-law had no complaints. The location is super convenient and strategic. The water dispenser has now been upgraded, and I can see Suite Dreamz improving its facilities. The room service staff are very good too. I've stayed here every time I'm in KL, usually for 1-2 weeks. We originally came because my late father-in-law used to have medical checkups and recover from an operation in KL. The service is tip top, especially from Tricia. She is very friendly and helpful, greets us whenever we pass the reception desk, and gave me helpful assistance with everything when I was packing to go home. I've had very pleasant stays, and I want to thank her. I do have feedback about the early morning receptionist. I hope he'll greet guests more when I next visit. On departure, I had two small suitcases, one medium suitcase, and a box, but he didn't open the door for me to get to the Grab car. I had to manage everything myself while he was at his screen with headphones on. That was disappointing. I hope Management takes this seriously, as it affects the hotel's customer service rating. The service was unprofessional and far below what I expected. I won't be returning. I booked this hotel for my parents and tried several times to cancel early, but got no response. On their first visit, staff brought up a tourist charge, which I refused to pay. At checkout, the receptionist could barely speak English and kept speaking in Malay, so communicating was extremely difficult and frustrating. Thumbs down.

The room was spacious and big enough for three people. The air-conditioning was good, and everything else was good too.

The location is the one good thing, with plenty of shops nearby. The air-conditioning didn't work properly, and some staff were unfriendly or a bit rude. They didn't change the dustbins, and I saw one or two cockroaches in the room. They use a card system for towels, room cleaning, and other requests. We put ours in the “no towel” area, but they still didn't replace our towel. Soundproofing was really poor too. I could hear people yelling and singing in the hallway, and loud fighting in the next room.
