The pool and gym at Robertson were lovely and well kept, and check-in has been straightforward for us on earlier stays at Maple Home and Lux. This time, though, the apartment had a strong bad smell in one bedroom and one bathroom, so we shut those doors and didn't use either room. The shower pressure was weak, the bathroom floor wasn't fully clean, and we spotted ants in both the bathroom and kitchen. Robertson is generally a good place to stay, but the rooms seem to vary a lot in quality, and I wish they were more consistent.

The apartment was very clean, spacious for the two of us, and had a washing machine that came in handy. We checked for bugs, especially bed bugs, and found nothing concerning. The bathroom was fine too, with no odd smells. Staff arranged check-in and check-out through WhatsApp, replied quickly, and were friendly and helpful with requests. They could also hold our luggage after checkout. There are great food spots nearby, including options for us as vegans, and a short Grab ride gets you to tourist spots or elsewhere. The pool and gym were available, though we didn't use them. We'd stay here again on a return to KL.

The apartment had everything I needed, and check-in and checkout were easy. Jalan Alor is within walking distance, while food and groceries are about 100 meters away. Tourist attractions are all within a 5 km range. Only things I missed were a dental kit and lotion. One of the best stays I've had, and I'd recommend it.

There was a really bad smell in the rooms and lobby. By the time we left it had faded, though maybe we had just got used to it. 😁
