The pool, sauna, and jacuzzi were pretty good, and security seemed decent. I was staying in an Airbnb unit, so I can’t speak to the apartment itself, but the building felt old and overdue for major upgrades compared with other places in Kuala Lumpur. The lobby was the worst part: no air conditioning, and it was hot and uncomfortable when we arrived early for check-in. It made a poor first impression. The location is also a fair way from Kuala Lumpur’s main attractions, and getting there involves a toll.

The unit I rented was acceptable, though it showed some wear, probably because the building is old. The shared areas were a different story. The pool was cloudy and filthy during my stay, and the gym was so stuffy, with poor ventilation and no AC, that regular exercise was out of the question. Most common areas seemed to have no AC switched on at all. The lobby was hot and stuffy as soon as I arrived, and I wondered whether owners had raised the issue. Security was frustrating too: trying to communicate felt like two sides speaking completely different languages. There are plenty of newer options in OKR, including one next door, so I’d skip this Airbnb spot.

I was visiting to eat at one of the retail outlets, and while I was checking the menu outside the restaurant, a guard suddenly started insisting that I reverse park. I was already in the correct spot. When I asked why I had to reverse in, he couldn’t explain, but kept pestering me about it. It sounds ridiculous, but it really happened, and I’m still puzzled by the logic. The security guards here are awful.

There’s a small theater room for residents, and a local market across the road for everyday needs. I also liked the posh cafe beside the parking entrance. The building is low density, with just eight units per floor, so it’s very quiet. The pool is on level two, surrounded by the towers, and the gym is on level 3a. The air conditioners in the outdoor gym area didn’t seem to work.
