Hotel Zamburger Kuala Selangor

The location made it easy to explore Kuala Selangor, with Bukit Melawati, firefly boat rides and local seafood spots all within reach. I spent two nights here with my family and had a satisfying stay. The room was neat and well maintained, with the basic amenities, a cozy bed, working air conditioning and strong Wi-Fi. Nights were quiet, so we slept well. Staff were courteous and ready to help, and check-in and check-out were quick and hassle-free. Parking was ample too. Grand Kapar Hotel offers good value for a clean, comfortable stay. I'd consider coming back next time I'm in the area, for a short visit, business trip or weekend getaway.

The comfortable bed and pillow, along with the good location near eateries, made this a good deal for a one-night break in a long drive. The room is small but fine for that purpose. It had bottled mineral water, an electric kettle, coffee cups, bath towels that were a bit yellowish, and hair and body shampoo. There's no mirror in the room, only in the bathroom. The bathroom floor wasn't clean and was slippery, and the mat provided looked more like a hand towel than a proper floor mat. Keep in mind this is a four-storey corner shop lot with no lift, and a RM50 deposit is required.

We spent two nights here for a short vacation. The hotel is very well placed for tourist attractions and necessities, within a short drive or walk. We paid RM146, or RM73 per night, which felt cheap, and the room and towels were clean. Our room had no window, but that was acceptable for the price since rooms with windows were fully booked. Paying for parking was acceptable too, given the car park fee, the plenty of nearby parking and the app options. The downside was hearing voices from outside, including the next room's shower. Recommended for a short stay, and try to get a room with windows.

There are public parking spaces available, though none are dedicated to the hotel. Also, you'll need to take the stairs since there's no lift. For a budget stay in Kuala Selangor, this is a good choice. Our deluxe queen room was compact but had enough space for two. It was well maintained, with a city-view window and a clean attached bathroom. The towels and bedsheets were clean too, and the cozy room was neat and clean for the price.
