Sun Inns Hotel Pasir Penambang

I woke up covered in bites because the room had bed bugs. When I told the staff, they handled it unprofessionally and didn’t offer a real fix. The hygiene here is clearly poor, and a hotel shouldn’t have conditions like this. I’d advise people to stay away until they seriously address the pests and cleanliness.

The room is decent for the price, and the staff are helpful. But the air conditioner doesn’t cool the room, and the bathroom drain is clogged.

Water was dripping from the ceiling, and I could hear someone walking barefoot next door through the connecting door. The outdoor air conditioning units are mounted right by the head of the bed, and they’re so noisy it’s impossible to sleep. I’ve had plenty of bad rooms, but this is one of the worst. Absolutely terrible.

We booked this hotel at the last minute for a quick getaway after failing to find a decent place. Fortunately, they had a few rooms free, and the price was really cheap. At that rate, you can’t expect much.
