We had a great stay, and the staff were really friendly. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and we especially liked the antique-style furniture. We were grateful for the facilities available. The location is quiet and away from the city, with a river view. There are river cruises nearby, and the Terengganu state museum is very close. For a budget hotel, it was really, really good. We stayed for one night in May 2024. The downsides were some mold on the walls and low water pressure.

We ended up staying here at short notice because the other hotel was full. The facilities were good enough, but there was mold on the ceiling and walls, and the shower water pressure was low.

We stayed one night before catching an early ferry to Redang the next day. It's close to Taman Tamadun Islam. A budget hotel with clean rooms, though the furniture is old and the building feels very simply built. Still, it was okay.

There's a warung and a keropok lekor shop within walking distance, and the Taman Tamadun Islam Jetty is very close. That's why I'd come back, especially with the low price. It's a proper budget hotel, so the bed and toilet are basic but fine for a night or two. The only issue I noticed was that the air-conditioning felt a little warm. If you need somewhere cheap before an early boat to Redang Island, this place is worth considering.
