There are supermarkets, an eco store, and a 7 Eleven nearby. In my single room, the bathroom was conveniently inside the room, and the electric points, aircond, and wifi were all fine. But the room looked a bit run down and wasn’t as advertised, and the TV didn’t work. I wouldn’t advise walking out alone at night. After I went to 7eleven, a mentally ill person around there chased me.

At Ady Hotel in Terengganu, I found the room musty and clearly not properly cleaned, with cockroaches crawling around. Early in the morning, loud construction noise from the hotel woke me up. I’d booked a weekend getaway hoping to rest, so that was especially upsetting. Doing construction while guests are sleeping shows no professionalism or concern for customers. This was one of my worst hotel stays, and I’ll never return. I strongly advise others to avoid it. To the owner, I almost feel sorry for you. You seem so desperate for money that you’re willing to disturb paying guests with morning renovation noise. If that’s how you run a hotel, you’re driving guests away yourself.

After travelling for at least seven hours, we were exhausted, but had to wait outside for an hour just to get a room because the previous guest hadn’t checked out. The room wasn’t clean and the AC hadn’t been serviced. Very poor service and hygiene. I’d never recommend this place.

Cockroaches were everywhere as soon as I entered the room, especially in the toilet. The counter staff weren’t guest friendly, as many others have said, and the stairs are very steep. If you’re bringing elders, you might want to check in somewhere else.
