Fargo Boutique Hotel

I booked at the last minute and was there on my own. The room was clean, had everything I needed, and suited one person. It's in the city center and reasonably priced, so it works if you have a day or two of work nearby.

There are plenty of cafes and restaurants within walking distance, and the weekday rates are fair. I walked in to book and found the staff friendly and helpful. The place was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and it was quiet enough that I couldn't hear the people next door through the walls.

The hotel is in the old town, across from a public park, close to food outlets and the state mosque. Parking is by the roadside and you have to pay for it each day. The hotel itself is simple and modern, clean and comfortable. The shower was hot and had good pressure, and the AC kept the room cool.

I couldn't go with my parents because I was working, so I booked the room for them. When they arrived, staff wouldn't let them check in, even though they showed the booking ID from the screenshot I'd sent. They said they didn't believe my parents because I wasn't there. My parents are elderly and had travelled a long way, only to find they couldn't check in without me.
