JS Homestay Air Putih

I stayed here on a ride to Kuantan. It's a simple, cheap, clean homestay, with major restaurants about 500m away on foot. Recommend it.

The location is good, but the place isn't maintained as well as it used to be.

I paid RM200 for a really bad one-night stay with my family of six, including elderly people and a person with a disability. I didn't mind paying more, and chose this location because it was near my cousin's house, but I felt cheated and wouldn't recommend it. After we'd paid, we found out while collecting the keys that one of the last two available rooms had a ceiling problem and could leak in heavy rain. The other had cleanliness problems. Within five minutes of walking in to turn on the lights and check the water heater for my grandparents, I found two cockroaches. Before I booked and paid, I'd called the owner, Mr. Albert Tan, to check, and we'd also chatted on WhatsApp. He should have told me about the room issues then instead of hiding them from customers. I've attached the photo I took at this homestay.

It smelled musty, and the parking lot was small, which is typical for a garden house.
