Banana Homestay Kuching - P'Residence

The apartment stayed cool even with the air conditioning off, and the airflow really impressed me. We were in building B6 at P’Residence Batu Kawa for 5D4N, with two parking spaces close to the apartment door. The place has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a balcony, living room and kitchen, though it's only partly furnished. There wasn't an obvious spot to hang clothes to dry. For cooking, there's a rice cooker and a multi cooker that works like an electric pan for stir-frying or boiling. We also had an iron, hair dryer, fridge and electric kettle, and everything worked well for everyday use or a longer stay. I think there are two swimming pools, plus a gym and a minimart downstairs, but our schedule was too packed to use them. The trash area is on the ground floor, where there's also a sink and soap for washing your hands, a thoughtful little detail. Check-in and checkout were easy to handle yourself: text the owner, book, transfer the payment, and that was it. There's a main gate, and you need to keep your access card with you, so don't lose it. The only real drawback was the distance from the city center. It took about 30 minutes to drive downtown Kuching, so plan ahead if you're doing lots of things in the city. Comfy place, and I'd consider staying again if I'm back around Kuching.
