The apartment was comfortable, and everything worked fine. I booked the first-floor apartment for New Year’s Eve at RM289, the highest rent, for up to 12 people. It had three rooms, four double beds and four single beds, plus the basics of a simple home. The location is a big plus: close to Kuching, the airport, and Kuching Sentral bus station. Premier Food Court downstairs is open 24 hours, and there are plenty of shops around the shoplots. Customer service was okay. For a two-night stay, they wouldn’t provide cleaning or extra drinking water bottles. It was fine for one night, though. Don’t expect too much and you’ll be fine.

It’s close to the airport, but the room didn’t look like the ones shown on Traveloka. The room for three was so cramped there was barely space to pray. The bed was right by the toilet, just one step away. They also had no iron available, saying the hotel was fully booked.

On my first night, I found three bed bugs on the bed and two cockroaches. It really didn’t seem like the room had been cleaned properly, and for the price that’s unacceptable. I worried the bugs could cling to my clothes and come home with me. Their only response was to spray repellent, but bed bugs won’t just disappear that way. They need full disinfection and pest control. I wouldn’t stay even one night. It was also hard to find halal food here, and the location isn’t very strategic, apart from being near Kuching airport. It was a very bad experience. There’s no lift, so I had to carry my luggage upstairs. The room was small and noisy, and I could hear people talking outside the door.

Probably the best location in kch. The room was decent and clean when I stayed, and I think it’s improved since last time. There’s a food court beside it, and it’s convenient for getting around.
