The room was clean and affordable, but it had a strange smell I couldn't identify. It was so tiny that two people could barely move around, and the twin beds were much smaller than they looked in the online photos. Beware.

The location is handy, with Spring and Vivacity nearby and a Chinese/Malay food court right next door. The room is small but comfortable, so it works for a short business or leisure trip. Parking is the snag, as spaces are usually full during the day.

There's a 24-hour 7eleven and a few restaurants around the hotel, which is convenient. The hotel is clean overall and the room was okay, though very small. For that size, I found it quite pricey.

There's plenty nearby, including a 24-hour 7-eleven, a kopitiam, Loong Siang Yen food court (Chinese Food), and Cili Padi Restaurant. The hotel is behind Borneo Medical Center, about a five-minute walk from the hospital. It seemed quite new and was still offering a soft opening promotion. I'd choose a larger room, since the compact one feels cramped. There were no glasses or cups, and no hot water dispenser. The towel was stained and the bed cover was dirty.

I got a good night's rest and found the room good, though the mattress didn't seem clean to me. It's a shoplot hotel, and costs RM88 per night including 6% sst. There's no breakfast, but three restaurants are downstairs. For budget travel, you could give it a try.
