The elevator setup was confusing and frustrating. Only some elevators apparently go to LG, and nobody explained that clearly. Even a simple ride took a while as we waited and tried to work out which one went where. We arrived at 3 PM on 03/06/2026 and found an extremely long check-in line. It took 1.5 hours to reach the desk, the longest hotel check-in I've experienced. Staff said the rooms were still being cleaned, which was confusing on a public holiday when the hotel was clearly full. I'd have expected enough staff to be arranged ahead of time. That wait disrupted our plans for the day, and nobody explained, apologized, or offered compensation. The whole experience left a bad impression. I understand busy periods can be difficult, but I don't think I'll return. I don't enjoy spending so much time waiting.

The staff were great, and I feel bad for them having to deal with angry guests. The problems seem to be with management and the system. There are hundreds of one-star reviews about the same issues, yet nothing seems to have changed. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you value your time. I arrived around 6 pm hoping for a shorter line, but check-in was still painfully slow, nearly 20 minutes per guest. I didn't get checked in until about 7:30 pm. The elevators were either out of order or not running properly, and the ones that worked were hot and uncomfortable. My room card also caused problems. The RM100 deposit had to be paid in cash only. At checkout, we had to wait for housekeeping to inspect the room before we could finish, another delay.

The room and location were okay, and the front office staff were friendly, but getting in took far too long. We started queuing around 3:30 PM and only reached our room at 5:30 PM. The check-in line alone took almost three hours, then we waited another 10-15 minutes for housekeeping to finish cleaning the room. It was disappointing, especially seeing other guests who'd travelled from Bau/Sibu with kids looking worn out from the journey. I hope management improves the check-in process and coordination. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly, and reception is open 24 hours. I stayed from Thursday to Friday after booking through the Agoda app. There was an on-site cafe, but it closes at 9 pm. The room had a chair, wardrobe, and private bathroom with shower, but the water heater wasn't working. Amenities included free Wi-Fi, though ours only worked for one hour, plus a TV, kettle, mini fridge, hair dryer, and some two-in-one shower soap. I can't really comment on service beyond reception, as it was very hard to communicate. Good job to Ms. Cynthia, Natasha, Doris and Jeremy.
