Noordin Street House

The staff were the highlight, so friendly and full of great suggestions for making the trip special. This heritage hotel in a converted merchant house has spacious rooms and very comfortable, romantic beds.

Our room beside the garden was wonderfully quiet despite being right in Georgetown. From the garden you could see the malls and a huge piece of street art. The Deluxe rooms mix old charm with modern comforts, and the staff were lovely and so helpful. Noordin Street house is a friendly little oasis, and they go the extra mile. If you want boutique comfort while walking Penang's streets and sampling street food, it's well worth checking out.

The rooms are distinctive and beautifully styled, and the staff are lovely. Having a pool is a real treat in Georgetown, especially for cooling down after a hot day. Komtar, the public transport hub, is about a five-minute walk away, and the center is roughly ten minutes on foot. Ask Sandra for suggestions on food or sightseeing, or to share what she knows about the country, island, and culture.

Charming place with a little pool for relaxing. I stayed in the "out house" room, which was just the sort I wanted, without a commercial feel. It had WiFi details in the room, a small chiller, air conditioning, and a fan. The staff were friendly.
