We came to visit relatives nearby, and my 8-year-old gave the place 5/5 ⭐️. The room felt roomy, clean, and nicely done in a simple style for a reasonable price. There’s a food court, Le Papa Supermarket, a coin laundry, Mr DIY, and Supersave within walking distance, which made things easy. It is a bit outside Kuching city centre, so it suits plans around Matang or Malihah better.

Getting a lot of luggage through the door was a struggle, and the two receptionists just stood there laughing instead of helping. They were gossiping during check-in, too. The room was okay, but very dark, and the heater felt quite scary. Since it’s far from the city, you’ll also have to spend extra on rides.

They said the hotel had only opened two weeks earlier. My overnight stay was nice, and it’s close to the lepap mall. Still, it needs some basics, like a Qibla direction, hairdryer, and toothbrush. Those matter more than cotton buds.
