The staff were very nice and cooperative, and the rooms were clean and bright. There was also a good collection of books and magazines. But the location is the only perfect thing here: it's an easy walk to Gurney Plaza, Gurney Paragon, Pulau Tikkus, and the night food market. Traffic, especially noisy bikers, continued past 1am. Tea and coffee were only available in the ground-floor common area, not in the rooms. The room had a TV and receiver but no movie channels, and there was no microwave or oven to heat meals.

There’s free parking and Wi-Fi, plus coffee, tea, and snacks on the house. It’s a clean, affordable spot, and the host is really friendly. You can walk to the malls and places to eat. There’s also a shared area to make a drink and unwind, and laundry is available for a small fee.

We booked the queen room with its own bathroom. It was roomy, tidy, and clean, and the guesthouse is affordable with free Wi-Fi. Gurney Paragon is about a five-minute walk away. The person in charge was chatty and helpful, though the bed wasn’t as comfortable as I’d hoped.

Having parking and a water dispenser was handy, and Gurney is within walking distance. But the room was full of mosquitoes, and I was bitten all night and barely slept. The facilities were poor: no hairdryer, the towels didn’t soak up water well, the sheets were dirty, and the room wasn’t soundproof. It felt overpriced, and I wouldn’t return.
