Oyo 89486 Kulim Inn

For this price, I’d definitely recommend it. You won’t find an Oyo hotel with rooms this spacious and facilities this good.

It’s an old style room, but worth it if you just need somewhere to sleep. I’ve had good experiences here, including on my fourth stay when the roof in my room leaked and staff immediately moved me to another room. The next morning, at 11am, I was getting ready to shower and check out when there was no water. They’d turned it off for maintenance without telling us. I reported it, and the water was back in the room 10 minutes later. The staff are polite and attentive to your needs.

Be careful when calling their customer service number. They keep saying the cheaper rooms are all taken and try to push you toward the more expensive ones. It feels like a scam tactic to make money from unsuspecting customers who call in. 😠

I stayed at Kulim Inn last week. The air conditioning in the first room wasn’t working, so I asked to switch rooms. The second room was cold enough. Service from reception and maintenance was good, even though they were fasting and tired.
