For the price, this hotel wasn’t that good. The room was small, and sharing it with a friend made access awkward. I phoned reception to ask if there was a second access card and was told yes, but when I went down to collect it, they said there wasn’t an extra one. You need a card to get from the lift to the room door.

The hotel is decent for its price, and I can’t complain too much. Breakfast is a set meal from Secret Recipe, not a buffet. They serve a different kind of breakfast each day, with one drink, and that’s it. The road noise was the bigger issue for me. Even on the fourth floor, I could clearly hear it through the closed windows, almost as if they were open. I couldn’t get enough rest or sleep, so management should address that. I’d say it suits workers on a stopover or solo travellers better. Families with kids should look elsewhere.

The bathroom was clean and had a shower screen to keep splashes in, and the room came with a safe and a tea-making appliance. There’s a welcome drink, too. The room was fairly spacious, although the wardrobe tucked at the side is tiny. Breakfast is provided through Secret Recipe for guests who book it.

A quiet, pleasant place, with food spots nearby. You can walk to both the airport and the ferry terminals.

Nice rooms and good service. Eina is super friendly and sweet, and really nice to talk to. She deserves a raise.
