I felt very safe travelling solo here, thanks especially to the lovely women on staff. We had a few payment hiccups, but they worked out arrangements to accommodate us, and extending my stay was easy. The colonial style gives it a vintage traveller feel, which I loved. My room was cosy, and I liked having a real key instead of a card. The bright, airy reception is a peaceful spot where you could spend hours reading. The hotel is charming and peaceful, right in the heart of Ipoh. Its lift is very small, which might be tricky for a family or even a couple, though as a solo traveller I found it added to the charm. Thanks, Vicky (I hope I got the spelling right!). You made me feel special! 😊

I’m from Indonesia and stayed here for two nights. Before checking out tomorrow, I wanted to say I had a lovely experience. The staff were all kind, especially one of the male staff, who was incredibly hospitable. I hope more guests find this hotel. Keep up the great work!

Vanisha at the reception deserves a special mention. She was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. My room at Casa Colney Hotel was clean, comfortable, and well cared for, and the location was very convenient. The service was good overall, and I had a pleasant stay. I’d gladly return.

Getting around was easy with Grab, and we found an underpass from inside the station to cross the tracks. It’s opposite a temple, isn’t signposted, and is only open from 7am to 7pm before it gets locked. The hotel is across the railway tracks from the main station. The room was clean, nice, and well maintained, with a fridge, complimentary water, and tea and coffee with a kettle and cups. The staff were absolutely lovely and helpful.

Ms. Vanesha at the front desk gave us a warm smile and helped us park our rental car safely in the designated area instead of right outside the hotel. The room was clean, and the bed was really comfortable. I was very satisfied with my one-night stay at Casa Colney Hotel.
