Camp Valley Langkawi

The rice fields at sunset had a breathtaking view, and I loved the chickens and the three furry cats. I spent a week here, away from the chaos and surrounded by nature. It’s also easy to get from one side of the island to the other in less than 30 minutes. The owner was very courteous and quickly helped me get set up for online work. Wi-Fi worked perfectly everywhere, even for video calls with more than three people. There’s a gym available to use, too. Thanks for everything :)

There’s no restaurant at the moment, and you’ll need a moped to get anywhere. You can rent one here, though, and Grab works well too. The staff were very helpful. The little units feel homely, are well equipped and quiet, and several look out over a peaceful rice field. There’s also a gym focused on boxing. Recommended.

The place sits amid lots of nature in the middle of Langkawi, with a lovely spot to watch the sunset. Our only issue was the lack of soundproofing. If you’re a light sleeper, you may not get any sleep. We didn’t need mosquito repellent during our September visit.

We stayed in a little cabin, and it felt cozy inside. The view over the rice fields was amazing. Great stay!
