Cenang View Hotel

I had a very bad stay. The beach view was misleading, there was no beach, just a disappointing view. The bed was dirty and unhygienic, which I found unacceptable. The fridge did not cool at all, the water heater didn’t work so expect cold showers, and the AC couldn’t cool the room properly. Poor maintenance and cleanliness. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Save your money and go somewhere else.

The main drawback was the bathroom: its latch was broken so we couldn’t lock it, and the shower flow was very weak. Wi-Fi was unstable and stopped working after midnight, so it wasn’t useful overall. The location is the big plus, with easy access to the beach and the shopping and food truck streets. The rooms were spacious, and from the top floor you can see a beautiful sunset or sunrise.

The location is very good if you want to be in the centre, with lots of things to do nearby. It’s very cheap, but I still didn’t feel it was worth it. The sheets weren’t very clean, the towels they provided made me change hotels, and the room smelled. I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but I’d suggest thinking twice before staying here. Hygiene didn’t meet even the minimum I expect.

There wasn’t anything positive for me. The building looks like a factory inside and out, it’s old and smells dusty. The AC and shower barely worked, and it was noisy. Wi-Fi didn’t work at all, probably due to the heavy load. There’s no free parking, so you have to leave your bike on the street, and there’s no breakfast. Not worth the price. I wouldn’t come back.
