Federal Villa Beach Resort

I spent a week in one of the apartments managed and serviced by Holiday Villa Resort. It was quiet and peaceful, with friendly, nice service. The private beach is probably the best on the island, with soft, fine white sand. The rooms are a bit old. There are great facilities, including a tennis court, a lovely pool, and fast WiFi. Just use Grab for getting around.

The beach is lovely and quiet, and the room’s chiller worked really well. The toiletries and bathroom heater were good too. The room itself was clean, but the old furnishings and carpets need a major overhaul. The TV didn’t work, and some lights were out. These rooms are in separate three-storey blocks, far from Holiday Villa’s main lobby, and there’s no lift. That could be a hassle with lots of luggage or for senior guests.

It’s a quiet spot with a peaceful beach and plenty of restaurants nearby. Cenang beach, shops, and more restaurants are about a five-minute drive away. The rooms are spacious and simple, but kept in good condition, and breakfast at the Holiday Villa main lobby has a good variety. A good hotel for the price.

The pool is very good, and there’s a private beach, a nice lobby, and friendly staff. Breakfast is good too, though the music is awful and far too loud. I mentioned it several times, but nothing changed, and it’s the same song every morning. The place feels old, the shower is bad, and it looks ugly and dirty. There’s a shop nearby where you can rent a bike for just 30rm. Also, it’s strange that the same park has two names.
