I stayed in Paddy 1, upstairs, with one queen bed and one single bed. There are several paddy rooms, and Paddy 1 and Paddy 2 are next to each other upstairs. The room and bathroom were clean, and there was a small fridge, air conditioning, and a small TV. It's close to the airport and other places around chenang, so it works well if you're using a motorbike or bringing no more than one car. There's also a warung by the school nearby that serves really good roti canai and roti sarang burung for breakfast. I came for a half marathon and would recommend this guesthouse if you're on your own or travelling with one friend. A good stay. Thanks to the owner.

The photos gave us the wrong idea, and the owner was very poor at replying, a bit rude too, honestly. We booked the residence a few weeks ahead but regretted it. The place itself was okay, not too bad, though it's not easy to find. In the end we cancelled and found somewhere else. Good luck, I guess.

The owner was nice to my face but didn't help once the issue came up, and didn't seem to understand it. I had a bad experience and didn't expect that kind of behavior from a Malaysian.

We've been returning for about five years, usually staying a couple of months each time. Wan and Zira, along with the rest of their family, are so welcoming and friendly, and they always help whenever we need anything. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The kampung is peaceful and beautiful, a lovely place to unwind. We usually choose one of the paddyfield houses, which I really recommend. They're beside the paddy field, where you can see cows, buffalos, and lots of birds. Renting a motor bike is a good idea for getting around the island. We travel a lot, and this is one of our favorite places to stay. We definitely recommend it.
