Senari Bay Resort

It's a clean, well-kept compound with covered parking, a barbecue area, tables, a swing, and hammocks. Even at night it's bright enough to hang out and relax. The place sits beside a fishing jetty and has a private beach where you can fish. It's about 2km from chenang beach. If you want somewhere peaceful and private, this could suit you.

There's a small private beach inside the resort, a nice place to relax with family or your partner in the evening. It's a budget-friendly resort in Langkawi. There aren't shops or restaurants nearby, especially Indian ones, so you'll need to order through Grab or Food panda. There are a few Malay cafes around, but they're average. Staff told me they plan to demolish and rebuild the resort to a higher standard.

The resort grounds were clean and looked after by workers every day, and the view was breathtaking. You can swim at the private beach or relax in the hammock and feel the sea breeze. The bedroom furniture is real hardwood, which was impressive, and the refrigerator came in handy for chilling the chocolate we bought. A nearby restaurant opens at 1830 for dinner.

I wasn't sure about booking this resort, but I ended up not regretting it. It's a good fit for a young married couple like us wanting a budget holiday with a great resort view. I don't think the private beach is suitable for swimming, since I saw men washing their sailing boats there. Chenang Beach is only 6 minutes away, though, and you can swim, eat seafood, and watch the sunset there. In the morning, the sea view from the small restaurant behind the rooms is stunning.
